It's my first time using mane bags. I found them easy to use. Thus, far they've been in a week. The quality is good and I loved the royal purple. I used them on a pony with a very long mane. I thought the bags could be just a little longer. I think they'd be short on the horse.

Mane bags - Only reason for a 4 is that they could be a little longer. My horse a has a really long mane. Otherwise very easy to use.
Only thing is the tail hair can catch on the velcro.
